Commissioned by the Concert Choir of Sunset High School, Portland, Oregon, under the direction of Mr. Christopher Rust, who is an excellent choral composer as well as director. Chris and I met at the Choral Chameleon Institute in June 2017, and are confirmed members of the Mutual Admiration Society. 

Voices is an arrangement of six iconic spirituals that became anthems of the civil rights movement. Scored for double mixed choir with body percussion.
